Recent Sermons
| The End Times: Part One | 2/7/2010 | From Mayan calendars to “Planet X” theories, there are plenty of predictions about the end of the world. Jesus tells us that no one…no one…knows the time of his second coming and the end of human history as we know it. Instead, he tells us to be faithful in our ministry and service until he comes again in glory at the end of the age. Dr. Wilder preaches on these important lessons in this message. |
| What Is the Church? Part Four | 1/31/2010 | Dr. Wilder concludes his month long series of messages on the Church. In this sermon, we are reminded that the Church is not a human idea or institution. The Church is God's idea and it belongs to Him. Jesus established the Church according to His will and purpose...and He promises that not even the gates of Hades can prevail against his Church. |
| What Is the Church? Part Three | 1/24/2010 | Dr. Wilder preaches on the first chapter of Paul’s letter to the churches in Galatia in which we learn that Christians are set free by the pure Gospel to live as the family of God. This spiritual family extends far beyond the bonds of our families of origin. No matter how far from God a person may have wandered, the Lord’s grace is more than sufficient in freeing us from the sins or shame of the past! Paul knew this from firsthand experience and describes his life before…and after…Christ in these verses. |
