Tom Crow

Tom Crow
Tom has been playing keyboards and singing with Emmaus for about 9 years. He is currently leading the band with the help of John Elias and Steve Maase. Church music has been a major part of Tom’s life as long as he can remember, having grown up in a large Episcopal church in Orlando, Florida where both his parents sang in the choir and his godfather was organist and choral director. He has taken piano lessons on and off since the age of four and has always sung in church choirs, including Faith Lutheran’s. He started playing the trombone in 6th grade and moved to bass trombone at Eldorado High School and continued to play through college, though not a music major.

Having wandered away from the church in high-school, he rededicated his life to Christ and to service through Christian music shortly after he started playing trombone in the orchestra at Hoffmantown in the mid-to-late 80’s. He has sung with Quintessence Choral Artists of the Southwest for the 2000-2009 seasons, and now serves on their board of directors.

He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from NMSU and an MBA from the University of Phoenix in Albuquerque. He and his wife Vicki have three children. They own and operate a small investment advisory firm. All three children attend Hope Christian School and Tom serves on the school’s board of directors and as president and board member for the school’s foundation.
