Pastor Mike Easton grew up in Vienna, Virginia, and graduated from James Madison High School in 1972. He attended Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, and entered the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg following his graduation from college. He served his internship at Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna, Ohio, where he met his future bride, Debora Jean Blake. Pastor Easton later began graduate work in biblical studies at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the staff of Faith Lutheran, Pastor Easton served five parishes in Ohio. Debora has over twenty-eight years of experience in public education and now serves as a guidance counselor in an Albuquerque area middle school. Mike and Debbie have two daughters, Lindsay and Allison. Lindsay graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 and currently works in the field of fashion merchandizing. Allison attends the University of New Mexico. Mike joined the staff of Faith Lutheran in 2004 as associate pastor of discipleship, a position that allows him to share his gift of teaching and his passion for Scripture.
