Jeremy Rodriguez
Hi! My name is Jeremy Rodriguez and I am the youth minister in charge of High School and College and Young Adult Ministry here at Faith. I am from a wee little town in Illinois called Morrison and I received a degree in International Business and Spanish from Elmhurst College in Chicago, IL. Back home I have two awesome parents, three younger bros whose names all start with the letter J, a cool little nephew named Maverick and a one-eyed dog named Bandit. I traveled South America and the U.S. for a year doing music ministry and spent 3 years directing youth events all over the country.
I became a Christian at the age of 12 at Blackhawk Baptist Camp back in Illinois. It was not until my second year of community college that I joined up with Campus Crusade for Christ and I learned what it meant to have an everyday, every moment, surrender my life to Christ, relationship with Jesus. God continues to reveal himself in my life through worship, the reading and hearing of His word, spending time in silence, and talking about what He is up to in the lives of others.
Now my journey has brought me to Albuquerque and the sunshine of the desert. I get a kick out of hanging with my sweet gal Katie, playing my guitar, watching movies, reading books, pumping iron, playing golf and pondering the mysterious beauty that is Jesus Christ.
