Elementary Youth
Welcome to Kidz of Faith!
Every Wednesday during the school year, our K-3rd graders enjoy being Faith Weaver Friends. We meet for dinner, have songs and a skit and then rotate through three different stations. Each station focuses on the same Bible point for the evening. There are games, crafts and a surprise! We end the evening Faith Journaling with our Friendly Circle Leaders who are dedicated volunteers in K-5 Youth Ministry!
Our 4th & 5th graders also meet each Wednesday, to Grapple with Faith. Each week in the Grapple Program, students are challenged to answer questions that directly relate to their lives. The answers always are found in the Bible. Some of the questions our Grapple Kidz have answered include: “How can I honor my parents when they always tell me no?”, and “Why can’t I go to a PG-13 movie?” Our Grapplers have even had a guest speaker come to class and answer their questions about God and Science. Grapple students enjoy fellowship opportunities outside of their regular class time!
We are also blessed with dedicated Sunday school teachers who teach our Kidz of Faith each week! We use the Gospel Light Curriculum which focuses directly on Scripture and allows our teachers the flexibility to choose what options work best for the students in the class.
We also have Vacation Bible School each summer. VBS typically takes place during the second week of June. Stay tuned for further details for VBS 2010!
